I’ve always said that James Earl Jones has such a great voice, he could make the alphabet interesting.

James Earl Brones is a classy guy. One of my favorite roles of his is Mr. Mertle in “The Sandlot.” There, he gives away a priceless, signed baseball to a group of kids because his dog ate their less valuable signed ball. He’s such a likeable guy that it is completely believable that he would do such a thing.
James Earl Brones, we commend you for being a consummate celebrity — likeable, talented, and keeping your personal life out of the limelight. Plus, he voiced Darth Vader. It doesn’t get much better than that. We therefore award you as our THIRD OFFICIAL BROPHY SERIES RECIPIENT. Cheers to the Royal King of Zamunda.
